How do I get a visa for China?

Passport validity should be 6 months longer than the duration you plan to stay in China.

Usually the scanned version works. If your country requires an official letter an express shipping is available.

As this might take up to 3 weeks, we suggest you to apply for visa as soon as possible.

The school will provide the necessary invitation letter for you to apply for a 3-6 month student visa at the Chinese consulate within your own country. If you are A long-term student, apply for the same visa and from here we will help you to renew it. Do I need travel insurance?

Travel insurance is not compulsory for attendance at the school but is highly recommended. It is the student’s responsibility to cover all costs not explicitly outlined by the school, but we will endeavor to help you in any way possible.

How can I pay for tuition?

Cash on arrival, bank transfer or Western Union (or Wise).

What is included in the fees?

The school fees cover full time tuition, accommodation and 3 meals a day for the extent of your stay. It also includes a pick up service for your arrival.

For anyone staying over a month the school gifts a full uniform, and for those staying a year they will receive both a winter and summer uniform.

Is there internet available?

Yes, there is WIFI available throughout the school.

Do I need to speak Mandarin to attend?

No it is not necessary as there is an English translator for every class. Plus in here you will learn how to communicate in Chinese Language, which you will find useful during your trips downtown and nearby shops/markets.

Is there a minimum or maximum age limit?

As a general rule we accept students of all ages, but require students under the age of 14 to be accompanied by an adult guardian. There is no maximum age limit as Taichi and Qigong are appropriate and beneficial for all ages and body abilities.

Do I need prior martial arts training to attend the school

As of this moment no prior martial arts experience is necessary for students applying for the standard martial arts course.

Getting Ready

What do I need to bring?

Clothing of your preference for training and trips around.

Towels, deodorants, lotions and women sanitary products. As all this might be hard to find even in supermarkets shells.

How should I prepare before arriving at the school?

Make sure your passport is up to date, and allow plenty of time for your visa application to be approved. Notify the school of your travel dates and times so we can organise a prompt pick up service.

Physically

It is important to begin increasing your cardiovascular fitness, flexibility and confidence in simple acrobatics. If you have experience in martial arts then just continued practice should suffice, otherwise daily running, swimming and deep stretching are necessary. For anyone new to acrobatics a short session of rolls, cartwheels, handstands and jumps twice a week will help a great deal for your arrival.
